Celestine Caravaggio is an award winning actress based in Toronto, Canada. She is best known for her debut playing the lead role of Ruby in the feature film, Pur Laine, which premiered at The Ottawa Canadian Film Festival in 2018 and closed the festival to a standing ovation. She went on to win an award for Best Actress at the Singkwuento International Film Festival in Manila, Philippines in 2019. Pur Laine was directed by Ottawa based, award winning director, Alexander Cruz and the film won 21 out of 23 awards at Singkwuento. Pur Laine also won five awards at Creation International Film Festival Ottawa in 2019 and was a finalist at FACINE International Cine Festival screening on October 19, 2019 in San Francisco, California.

Recently, Celestine has booked principal roles in the following TV series: Law & Order Toronto Criminal Intent (Citytv), Gen V (Amazon Prime) Recent feature film projects include: Apnea (2024), Sparks Over Brooklyn (2023)

Since 2018, Celestine has booked over 40 commercials including US National campaigns for Chevrolet, Bounce, Downy, Spectrum Mobile with Ellen DeGeneres, Ozempic, Walmart, Uber and Go Daddy with NBA pro-athlete, CJ Miles.

Here is a tiny snippet of my favourite place in all of Portugal. @torredepalma is a wine resort in the interior region of the country - the love of mine - Alentejo. Alentejo produces the best wine, olive oil and cork amongst an abundance of other industries and Torre De Palma never seizes to impress.

This particular episode paints the story of our family in an olive orchard. I can’t wait to share all of this with you!

I'm sorry that I haven't posted much lately. I've been filming my travels to some far places. In the meantime, I wanted to share a special moment from Cabeço de Vide in the Alentejo region of Portugal...an ancient, medieval village propped up by hand cut stones. My walk brings you to the Castelo at the top of the hill - but note - the colourful sky, glistening moon and chiming of the bell tower. Today was HOT...40 degrees celsius ++++ BUT! Tonight, is cool, breezy and the day's memories will sing me to sleep. 🙏😴

When in Marsala, Sicily, taste the wine, eat from the land, take a swim and rest in this resort amongst the vineyards @bagliodonnafranca

Baglio Donna Franca Wine Resort is a culmination of luxury, history and tradition. Everything you would expect of the old world with a timeless, modern yet affordable luxury.

We were clearly the only tourists as we realized we were intermixed with Italian guests.

Lunch consisted of freshly farmed vegetables from the land and catch of the day from the seaside close by.

We were not staying here but the whole ambience of the resort brought us to our knees.

For only 15 euros per person, we were able to make use of the salt water pool for the day and they hydrated us with unlimited bottles of your choice of acqua naturale and frizzante - a must in the glorious Sicilian sun.

Welcome to Tonnara Di Scopello in the western part of Sicily. An old tuna fishery located around a small bay with impressive rock formations of "Faraglioni".

The day spent here was a dream. 15 euros for entry, loungers and access to the museum. A safe, well secured experience - mostly locals in the month of July and safe for generational families. Swimmers of all levels can access the water based on comfort level.

It was a scenic walk down a gradual hill followed by some steps for those that can walk with ease.

We traveled to Sicily for 6 days with the hope of enjoying the seaside and all Sicily has to offer. With such a short amount of time, we decided to focus on the west side. Our days have been peacefully packed. Driving is easy with little highway traffic. The people are very warm and it feels very safe.

A remarkable experience.

"Meet The Family" for Chevrolet US National. There are a few versions of this commercial currently running! Love every single one of them.

As many of my actor colleagues know, these commercials are so hard to book. In my opinion, we all have something so unique to offer that any one of us can book these and I celebrate when anyone gets the opportunity because a booking for all of us hard working individuals should be celebrated. That said, a bunch of us community people booked this one, this time. and I couldn't feel more blessed. It was truly a family both in front-of and behind-the-scenes.

As always, I loved this process. I reflect often on my life and why I am here. I say it over and over. The learning and the people are what make these moments so sweet. Thank you Lord, Allah, The Universe and anyone I may have missed for bringing us all together.

Torre De Palma Wine Hotel in Alentejo, Portugal. A luxury experience you can afford! Authentic portuguese with a contemporary twist. Try their offering of lunch in the olive grove. We were fortunate to be one of the first to try the white wine from their 2022 collection. Lunch was created with food from the land and paired tastefully with their wine. After, we all had a refreshing swim in their salt water pool complete with bottle service, plush towels, robes, slippers and access to their spa. Just some of the moments in Alentejo, Portugal. My partner's house is magical. Just steps out the door are chapels, olive groves surrounded by medieval walls and a pleasurable bell tower. There is so much to say about Alentejo, but this town, Cabeço De Vide was a soul fulfilling experience. The local people welcomed my "mista" family and we join them in their restaurants for some of the most memorable meals. Stay tuned for more Alentejo adventures as there is too much to sing about!

Stopped in the middle of the Portuguese countryside and stumbled upon this farm with "quintas" or cottages. It still had the centuries old charm. The garden were maintained as well as the private chapel that no doubt belonged to a very rich family many, many years ago. I love finding treasures! ☺️
